Much “Kudo” About Nothing

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank some friends of mine who have done me a world of good by mentioning me on their web sites with special posts dedicated to me, or mentioning me in their post. Jeffie-Boy and Kjetil (pronounced Kettle, just like the chips) have had great sites in general, plus they have dedicated a great deal of space to me over the years.

Jeffie-boy's 1st post about me - scroll down to November 12.
Jeffie-boy's 2nd post about me
Kjetil's post about me - go to "Friends", or "Older Photos" and scroll all the way down to the bottom.

I met Jeffie-boy and Kjetil while studying in “the Gong”. They were always there for a good time, even though, I’m sure there were times when I was more over-the-top than over-friendly. Be it with my chanting during volleyball games or my lack of drinking prowess, they were both really great people to have on your side in a strange land.

To this day, we have yet to meet up again – 2 close calls with Kjetil and a so close but yet so far with Jeffie-boy in L.A., but the odds are improving. Kjetil, I’m looking at you buddy for sometime in June – details are in the works.

So, the point is, thank you guys for allowing me to have web life and to see my name on the web not from my own point of view.

If anyone has some funny Kjetil or Jeffie-boy stories, the comment section below is the right place to put them, such as the one’s below.

During the 1st Volleyball Conspiracy Formal Dinner, I was the MC and Kjetil and I had orchestrated before hand that we would rumble during the opening speech, well we rumbled and tussled, we ended up on the floor – I just hope it looked like we were fighting to everyone instead of succumbing to our burning passions of love for each other! Not that there are any, but you can see how one can get mistaken for the other.

As for Jeffie-boy, I remember one night after having returned earlier from the North Gong Hotel (I think) the Marr St. residents were safe in their kitchen rummaging through the days events, or some memories, I can’t remember, due to of course the following events that took place. Jeffie-boy and Rob showed up at the door (as they usually did) and were knocking at the door for about ½ and hour before we thought we had heard some knocking at the door. Well it was them and they came up and we started into the sauce – the vegemite sauce – well, it tasted so bad that we needed something to wash it down, time to step up to the pear schnapps! Some time later, an ironic amount of vegemite was gone along with a tremendous amount of crackers, and due to the schnapps, we were well worse for wear, so we made a pasta dinner at 2 a.m.! Turned out pretty good too!
