Something I’ve been meaning to do for some time, and while I'm at it...

Last summer during our vacation to Paris & Stockholm, we had the most amazing time. I was so glad to meet up with my Aussie friends, and I was really sad when the whole thing was over. The best cap to the whole thing was that at Stockholm airport we ran into my friend’s girlfriend, whom we had only just met really 1&1/2 to 2 months prior! Nancy was in Stockholm for a conference and she was headed back to Toronto via the exact same flight (through Heathrow) and then the same plane to Toronto.

To commemorate such a strange occurrence, Nancy had someone take a picture of the three of us in the waiting area at Heathrow. I’ve been meaning to put this up for so long, but I never had it saved in the correct spot…no more excuses, here it is below.

Also, just yesterday my group here at work had to have our picture taken for some sort of work thing. That’s my office we’re in, look how nice and organized, neat and clean everything is. I know you’re all very impressed. Now remember, that does not mean that I don’t do any work. I am just one of these superior types of human beings that cannot operate in chaos/messiness. I do not like it not one little bit. I do need a haircut though. Starting L-R that's Shahrokh, Karen, Maria, Asgu (sitting), and me...needing a haircut:)

Anyway, just to show you how cold it is over here right now, that’s me with a turtleneck on under my dress shirt, and under that turtleneck is a t-shirt. Those are my dress pants, which underneath I have a really cool underwear layer that fits my entire legs, and finally, two pairs of socks. All this for INSIDE the office! Outside the office, I put on my jacket with fleece lining after I’ve wrapped my scarf around my face, put on my toque, and gloves, and then I’m ready to go wait for transit to go to work, and to go home.

Next blog is about some jackass on transit who thought he was going to win with me by being a jackass. Sorry, not this time buster!
